If a wheelchair is going to be comfortable, which means snug but not tight, that fits in all the right places, allows for any particular personal medical issues, is lightweight and comfortable you need to get the measurements right. We have thousands of customers and are fully experienced in assessing need.
Lifestyle Use
A wheelchair should do more than just fit you; it needs to fit your lifestyle too. Is the chair to be pushed or self propelled? Will the chair have to negotiate narrow doorways or fold to fit into a car? Does it need to be the same height as a bed or armchair to make transferring easier? These 'measurements' are important too.

Quality Check
The design of a Greencare wheelchair has been crash and stability tested. A final quality inspection ensures your chair is safe and ready to be handed over.
The Handover
The important part of buying a wheelchair is sitting in it and checking it fits. A wheelchair should be fitted by a qualified professional as this is the time for final 'tweaking' and minute adjustment - the little things that make all the difference.

Make your enquiry through your dealer or direct to Greencare 01642 353492 and our Customer Care Team will:
- Initially discuss with you any questions you may have.
- Arrange a visit with a qualified Assessor in your home, a hospital or at a Regional Assessment Centre.
- The Assessor will discuss your needs with you and take your measurements.
- The Assessor will send you a report and quotation.
- When instructed, the chair is made (usually 48 hours) – you can track build progress on-line if you like, or if you live near Teesside come and watch it being built – you'd be welcome.
- Customer Care will arrange handover and fit of your wheelchair at an appointed time with your Assessor.
A VERY SPECIAL WARRANTY
All Greencare chairs have a 12 month warranty on workmanship and components. For the life of the chair Greencare offer a maintenance agreement with full service repair and an annual inspection giving you complete peace of mind when using your wheelchair.So confident that the chairs are built to last Greencare will accept trade-in against a new Greencare chair if your needs change in the future.
